Intentional Camera Motion (ICM) Sea Composite

I arrived at the beach a little later than anticipated so things were a bit darker than expected. Add to that the effect of ICM and what you see is what we got - sort of. Those with good memories (counts me out) will recognise the lovely Becky from previous posts. She's enjoying a late evening paddle. The next ICM talk I shall watch is 'Water' and I'm hoping sea will be included, which might help a bit, can't guarantee it though. I have seen another tutor's sea efforts that were quite encouraging but just as hit and miss as the 'Trees' episode. Your critique will be appreciated if you feel inclined.

A highly engaging image, Dave. The layers of dark and light, and the position of the moon as counterpoint of interest to our lady... all are wonderful!
Technical: her shadow on the water seems a little too sharply defined. Can you talk about the halo around her head?
I looked a little for ICM in Erich's history, but I think I'm remembering slow shutter speed ocean waves.

I fiddled with the shadow quite a bit before settling for it as is, but that’s not to say I think it’s right, I’ve no idea what it would look like really. She’s a little backlit from the sun that’s setting off-set, stage right. Plus she has stepped a bit briskly toward the shore, creating some ICM! Thought you would have realised that Linda!
I messaged Erich a couple of times regarding the series of talks on ICM but didn’t get a response. I think he fits UHH into a rather busy life teaching, camping, walking, developing b&w film and searching for nice bits of antique camera equipment - I don’t know how he finds time to take photos - or watch tuts!
