Purchased new from B & H on June 30, 2019. Has been married to my D 850 until the arrival 6 months ago of my Z 9. Has had a UVA filter on since the day it arrived. Has been around the world, never let me down. After my return from Australia I felt it was time to have it tuned up by Nikon, and that service was performed December 12, 2022. Since then, it has been to Cuba, Svalbard and just returned 3 weeks ago from Uganda.
The lens is as perfect as new in function. It does show some wear on the exterior from packing. I always pack my lenses in heavy wool socks. I guess just from pulling them on and off, some of the white on the lettering has worn, and a couple of scratches on the exterior. However, I am including one of the last photos this lens captured in Uganda.
The 600 PF Z lens has forced me to let this lens go. I really never thought this day would come, this lens is just too good.
So, I am offering this lens, without the UV filter, as that has migrated to my new 600. Asking $1,500, plus shipping.
The FTZ adaptor will be posted separately.
