I wanted to try a slightly different spot this morning. I want to the other side of the pond and set up on an unbuilt but partly cleared lot. Spent about 45 minutes watching dry leaves fall but no birds in my field of view, a squirrel did wonder in but the single image I snapped of him or her was nothing special. Then I decided to head back to the woodpile. On the way, maybe 50 yards short, there was a cedar that looked like a good hide with a seemingly good view.
It didn't take long before a variety of birds began to visit the area.
This is my favorite trophy of my time under the cedar tree by the pond this morning.

Colors are just right.

Thanks very much. The bright yellow made keeping the bird's color a challange. I had to walk away and come back several times before I was satisfied. Thanks for the confirmation
