Hi everyone
Just like to mention that I have just fitted screen protectors to LCD and control panel screen and they were very easy to fit.
I had no problem with air bubbles as they are more rigid than the usual flimsy screen protectors and they are a perfect fit and very clear.

Just in case its of help and anyone is interested here is the link.

For the LCD are you using them in addition to or instead of the hard plastic one that comes with the camera?

Pros and cons?

I just got a D7000 and was planning to use the hard plastic one only.

Yes I have the hard plastic one on as well, the stick on one just gives extra protection in case any dirt gets behind the clip on one

Speaking about the D7000....is there a way to view the histogram of an image BEFORE engaging the shutter button? I see that the only a way to view the histogram is from the playback window, ie. only AFTER the image has been taken. Is that correct?

As far as I know that is indeed correct. I rechecked the manual and it only discusses it in playback mode.

It is one of the items Nikon sometimes gets dinged for. I have a $200 camera that does it and the $1,000 plus Nikon cameras can't seem to figure it out.

Okay. I will stop searching through the manual. But, I did notice if I leave the playback setting to the one that shows the all-white histogram, it does appear in the LCD screen for a few seconds along side the image (the time can be programed) immediately after taking the shot for a quick look.
