In Honor of our Veterans.
In honor of our veterans I wish to share my thoughts, respect, appreciation and honor those who chose to serve our country and the world for freedom.
My father was a WWII, Korean war and reserve plus national guard. He rarely spoke of those times.
Here are some pictures from last years services at the DFW Veterans memorial resting grounds where my father rests.
To all the UHH members who served: Gods blessings to you all and your families.
Bruce.
May God Bless all of these veterans including your Dad and mine.

People tend to underestimate the importance of the military and veterans. Not me.

All vets deserve nothing but the best our country can give them.
As a veteran who never experienced combat, the next best (worst) thing might be the movie Band of Brothers based on the Ambrose book about a company in the 101st airborne. My uncle served in the 101st but never really spoke about it. I know he was dropped behind the German lines on D-Day and a couple of more times later. The movie is very visceral. I think it’s good to remind ourselves what Fascism can lead to as it rears its ugly head again (NOT a political statement).
Excellent photographs honoring our troops. Thanks for sharing.
