Nice car and photos. I thought 62 was the first year of the round tailights. I could be wrong. After some research I believe the 61 was first.

You may be right. I thought the 62 was the first with the four tail lights but I just saw a picture of a 61 and it had them and it said that was the first year for them.

I had a '62 which had multiple "fins" in the insert behind the front tires. The '61 only had three.
That said, the '60 Vette still had the downward sloping rear end, unlike what is shown here.
This is definitely a '61 Vette, which only had a 283 cu. in. engine. It wasn't until '62 that
Chevrolet introduced the 327 cu. in. for the Corvette.
