I know, I think there's no way a bird that looks like a Tinkertoy set dropped from a tree can reassemble itself and land so gracefully, and on a dime.

Thanks all for the kind words. I just received the Nikkor 180-600mm Z lens yesterday after being on backorder since June. That plus the bird detection firmware update for the Z9 has resulted in a lot more keepers.
