I was just blown away when I went to check some equipment data in NX Studio under the INFO, File Info 2 tab. It had the name of someone unknown to me as the artist. I bought this camera (Nikon D750) as a second body used from MPB, so I assume this must be the previous owner. But how do I change the file info, and, most importantly, how do I change the information in the camera. Went through menu, but nothing jumped out at me.
Some cameras require connecting the camera to a computer and using the manufacturer's software to make those changes.
Found it in the user manual: page 385, copyright information. It also mentions NX Studio there.
Ahh, not the best option for
altering the info, just erasing?

Got it! Just have to figure out how to correct the image file in NX Studio. Thanks, Linda.

If you use Windows, try looking at "details" in Windows Explorer. One can change stuff there, and the metadata might be propagated into NX Studio.

Fortunately, as I scrolled through all of the rest of my images, I did not see that artist name again--only on the two images. Don't know the how or why, just don't want my images showing someone else's name anymore.
