At the risk of reigniting the art versus photography, PP versus SOOC, artistic vision versus reality, etc. etc. discussions, I wanted this image to reflect the principles of folk art. In the interest of full disclosure, I used an Oil Paint filter in Photoshop to achieve this effect. Not sure if I should've posted it here or in the Post Processing section but what the heck, here it is. Try Download for the best effect. Enjoy!

Very nicely done! Thanks for posting. With some filter in PS the OPF do not have the right effect, but in this case it looks very good indeed!

That's something I've never tried, but your photo is excellent and gave me the motivation to try.
