Will Trump be on the ballot in Colorado

Well, the trial started today to decide if Trump will be allowed on the Ballot if he runs for President.
The case revolves around Section 3 of the 14th Amendment which says that US officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution are disqualified from future office if they “engaged in insurrection” or have “given aid or comfort” to insurrectionists.

Hopefully, this will keep the orange menace off the ballot, but time will tell.

A conviction is not required to meet the standard set by section 3 of the 14th amendment. trump lost his four attempts to end case with the argument you suggested plus the one saying that the president is not an officer of the government. What's left is factual testimony.

Of course. And so far, no one has indicted or flipped on Joe Biden. He's not going to the to the poor house win, lose, or draw. But Mr low-rent Charisma is well and truly screwed. His old life as a wealthy(?)and crude wielder of power are over.
