I mentioned that I bought two bags of Mounds - and ate both. Since then, several friends have done basically the same thing. I have two unopened bags of Twix (I think), and I'm sure I'll have enough left over.
Have any of you already eaten your Halloween candy?
We hand out toys for this very reason. LOL
I'm waiting for the candy to go on sale after Halloween.

Yeah, and tell the kids to come back on Wednesday. 🤣
After Halloween is a good time to get decorations. I've gotten some from CVS.
Mounds has always been my (and my daughter's and her daughter's) favorite and yes, we've both admitted to sneaking one or two before Halloween. In fact, we go to great lengths to find Mounds (not that many stores carry them) and we both buy two bags just to make sure there's some left over. I sort of hide the Mounds under the Snickers, Kit Kats and M & Ms in the Halloween bowl but kids fish them out, anyway.
BTW for all you Mounds lovers, it's the highest calorie candy on the market probably because the coconut oil's calories are added to the chocolate's butterfat. Doesn't bother me, any.
I don't have any candy for today. I hope the kids understand.

If the store had Almond Joy, I would have gotten that. It seems that my favorite Stewart's flavor - Mounds of Coconut - is now an occasional "Limited Edition Flavor."

In re your last paragraph. Life is short. We need to enjoy it without stressing over calories and other stuff that our wives hassle us about. I'm the one who will be sitting by the door this evening handing out the goodies. The kids better come early while there are still some candies left.
I'm diabetic and have given up candy. Luckily I live in an in-law apartment and the entrance isn't obvious so I can turn off my lights and I usually don't even get anyone ringing my doorbell. But I loved and miss Mounds.

Years ago, a nutritionist came to our senior meeting and spent time with each person, asking him/her about sleep, exercise, food, etc. I told him that I like ice cream. He replied, "It's my job to get everyone to 70. After that you can enjoy life and eat ice cream."
