Vantage points are often quite limited and capturing an entire feature can be challenging.

You must recognize Morning Glory Pool! Thank you for commenting!

Over the years much of the color was lost due to visitors throwing every kind if debris imaginable into it. This created blockages and decreased hot water flow from vents and eventually dropped the water temperature which decreased certain thermophiles and their colorations. Water clarity and photosynthesis play huge parts. Annual clean-ups of the debris, taking place for years, will likely never undo the results of decades of vandalism.

You did a good job on these. Sometimes I am really disgusted with the human race.

It's kind of mind-boggling how some can make the effort to visit a place and then treat it and us with such disrespect. The popular thermal areas are often targets of rocks, sticks and occasionally coins.

It really amazes me how we can be hiking a few miles off the road in enjoyment of such beauty and come upon papers, plastic bottles and such. Thank goodness it is relatively rare.

It is no wonder that Morning Glory Pool, 23' deep, and Grand Prismatic Spring are the pride of the park! Thank you for your comment!

And anyone caught doing that should be thrown into the pool, along with their trash!! I hope it's still hot enough to cook them slowly!!
