Good morning,Sir, and thank you! We hit some of the thermals on slightly overcast days this year. We try for mornings before the crowds gather. Even post Labor Day and pre Memorial Day visitors are increasing every year. We do the basin attractions every few years.
Remember to check closing dates! As you know, the north entrance will soon be the only one open, but the good news is the road is paved all the way across Lamar. Lol, say hello to Big Sky!

We enjoy a refresher trip every couple years. It is amazing how many of the thermal features change. In between visits we work on the history, science, geology and geography and develop a bucket list for our next visit. Oh, yeah, sometimes we work on animals!
I thought it different to skip the animals for a change, but I do have one rarely seen that I will eventually post. Still cataloguing this years efforts!
