It's very easy to do with simple Photoshop skills. Here's a video Tutorial:

Ha, The composite was from one I did in the past and it took some time. The animated GIF was pretty simple and quick.

Terrific work, as always! Lots of neat background images hiding behind the web. Is the motion just the monster's eyes?

Great image...clever and appropriate for the season, yet, could be applied to a multitude of images!

I am alarmed~! This photo is the horror film classic... but I fear not fiction. The image is high on my list of "I-Gasp" images. Is he training them to act in an film or something more sinister. His creatures are large as we can see by the stone work in the background. Do they do his bidding?

I have long been concerned about FStop's fascination with spiders... Halloween is perfect timing for him to unmask what he has done. It appears he is using CRISPR genetic modification edit technique. He has blended human and spider genetics; such experiments creating HomoArachnida, human like spiders, are considered unethical.

Unethical or not the blending of our closest historic/genetic relatives Sus domesticus [Domestic Pigs] is long a source for heart valves. Domestic pigs are an ideal organ source for xenotransplantation. What part of FStops HomoArachnida creatures will be used for humans.. not the disposition for sure. The model for his future work is explained here:

Viewing the photo, the gentle use of color and the background are quiet... then we are blasted by the face that brings forth the worse of our young memories of our perpetually angry grade school teachers. Spiders and their webs are primitive fear provokers that make us uneasy.

Equipped with animated eyes, this Fstopian image does it all. Fstop is an image master

Thanks Linda. That composite was done a long time ago. I believe there were only 3 images used. The web was a cutout of a web I took on a bush in our yard. The animation was created in Photoshop using a feature called Frame Animation. The process is pretty straightforward. I made a selection around the open eyes on the base layer. I then typed in " Closed eyelids" in the generative fill box. I had to run this a few times until I got the one I liked.

When generative fill runs it creates its own layer in Photoshop. So in the end, I had the base layer with the eyes open and the Generative fill layer with the eyes closed. The frame animation creates what I think is a short movie starting with the open eyes and the switching to the closed eyes. It's in a continuous loop creating the blink. Then you just export it out of Photoshop as a GIF.

Thank you, Yes, it would be fun to create different Gifs using this technique.
