This is why we do Wedding Photography!
This is a photograph from a high school classmate. I find it breathtaking. The love between a mother and daughter. I've only captured one that can come close.
Hey Jim! I would have loved to see the imagery but the link did not work- it came up as "expired"? Try posting it again. I always like to show parental relationships in my wedding coverage. Some of the images of moms, dads, and grandparents are extremely emotional.
Too many folks on this forum are extraordinarily negative about wedding photography. One of my most influential teachers of wedding photography was Bill Stockwell. He was a very poetic poetic guy. He used to say "Some wedding shooters walk through the wedding garden and pick up all the rocks and mud and leave the pretty flowers behind"!
When the folks around here speak about wedding photography they are all preoccupied with isgear and horror stories about problematic weddings. There is very little or no talk about capturing emotional content and important family relationships.
