This is the finished filter.
The filter sheet on the front and back is smooth and clean but you will see reflections and I keep it covered with the white protective paper which came with the film I bought from Baader Planetarioum in Washington state, it is called Astro Solar film.

I made a similar one for the eclipse in 2017. Same film from baadar(sp?) worked great. Good job.
