I saw a video on the internet where a full-grown male lion was bitten by a black mamba and it suffered an agonizing death. It didn't show the confrontation just the painful aftermath.

Neither would I Mel, at least nowadays. Back in my undergraduate years I used to catch rattlesnakes for study purposes. My reflexes back then were a whole lot better than they are today!

I can believe that. Lions don't usually interact with snakes, unlike mongooses and other African cats.

I once saw a honey badger on a video where the badger actually got bit by a venomous snake and eventually killed the snake.he keeled over for a couple of hours at which point he got up and shook it off.after that he ate the snake.
