By almost universal agreement, the French automobiles of the 1930's were, collectively, the most beautiful cars ever produced. I, myself, have never met a fellow aficionado of historic cars that didn't share that opinion.

The car seen here is a 1937 Delage D8 120SS Aerodynamic Coupe

As one always hears, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I must have a humongous eye to accommodate all the beauty I see in French cars of that era.

Stay safe out there, my friend.

That's true. I've always subscribed to the theory that if you lock up the beautiful car, you have a leg up on snaring the beautiful women. There have been times when I could have attested to the validity of that philosophy.

The Delage, Delahaye, Talbot-Lago (all French) and the lone Italian Bugatti always grab my attention. I consider them among the most beautiful autos ever made. Just look at that,Tom...the Gina Lollabrigida (in her heyday) of automobiles. Beautiful captures.

Oh, what a beautiful Streetrod could be made from that car! I have very limited experience with more modern (60's & 70's +) French cars but can't say much for their internals.

Gorgeous shots 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 IMHO, nothing today can even come close to a machine like this for style and elegance. I've seen similar beauties manufactured in Europe around the same time that just took my breath away. Nice of you to exhibit yours for everyone to appreciate

Another beautiful set Tom. Unfortunately, like British cars, it was unsafe to get to far from a mechanic

For my money, Barbara, it doesn't get any more classy than some cars I'll show you. This one is in that bunch.

Well, there's great news in this case. Not only did the top French cars of this period have outrageous beauty, but their " internals " gave them performance levels envied by the privileged few who afford them.
