printer problem - weird

Have Photoshop Elements, an HP b&w Lasjerjet b&w printer, and a Canon TR8620 color inkjet printer; when I attempt to print on the inkjet, ( after setting paper type, quality, etc. ), the printing switches to the HP and prints on the Laserjet ?? have re-installed software, etc. Cannot fix this
anyone have this same problem ?

Some printer interfaces (like the one in Firefox) remember the last printer used and use that selection initially (as default).
Are you sure the Canon is selected as the printing device?

Absolutely; uninstalled both Canon & HP software & re-installed; same result

Could it be the wireless system in it? Try turning the printer off, that you are not using and try that. ¿

If you would show screen captures of your printer dialogs that would help. Like someone mentioned earlier most applications will retain the last printer selected by that app and use it to print. You have to make sure you have selected the right printer.

When you select the other printers do you save the printer as the default printer? The default setting will always show up until you change it.
