I have this laptop from the company I worked for and I attempted to install windows 11 about 5 times and it all failed. It's a decent laptop. Lenovo P1 gen 4i. i7 11th gen, 2.3GHz. 32GB RAM, Nvidia video with 4GB RAM.
When I retired I got to keep the laptop but I have to transfer the license of a good number of automation programming software back to the company (they wouldn't let me keep them license as they are worth more than $20,000). Today I tried to install Windows 11 again and it went thru without the problem. I guess some of those software isn't compatible to Windows 11.
OK so it's good. Previously I didn't care I thought I would have to return the laptop when I retire so it didn't matter if it's Windows 10 for the time. But now since I got to keep it I am glad I have a computer that can run Windows 11.

I hope your experience with Win 11 is better than mine. I've installed it three time since its release and have gone back to Win 10 because of software issues and bugs.

Odd. We have 11 on three boxes and have not noticed any hiccups or anomalies.

What kind of problems did you experience? So far everything is working fine.
I bought a new laptop with Windows 11 coming from Windows 7. I was very apprehensive about it. I was pleasantly surprised as to not having any problems. Hopefully I should be ok.
