As fall migration is well in progress, my (central NC) backyard is quiet except for a few stragglers still hanging around.
1. Bluejay - adult, juvenile.
2. Brown thrasher.
They hang on for the food and photos, Ronnie!

I suppose, but it does get cold in NC too (relatively speaking), so they better not plan to hibernate here!
The lawn supplies plenty of worms, and the holly trees berries. I don't have a "regular" bird feeder (yet), just one for the hummers, but that is now empty since they were no migration-stragglers!

Truly phenomenal beauties 🏆🏆💎🏆🏆
Beautiful set Ronnie. I make the list Blue Jay, Northern Mockingbird, Brown Thrasher

Those bird species are old timers of the yard that fit your description well.
Many of us hoggers are old timers too. The phrase 'phenomenal beauties' is one I could get used to also! 😃

#2 is a Northern mockingbird, not a juvi Bluejay, as Jack has pointed out. Unlike some other social networks, most prominently Facebook (yes, I do flirt a bit with that devil 🙂), UHH allows only a limited time to edit your posts!

Thank you. Jack, for the feedback and the ID correction. I normally check with the trusted AI assistant, Google Lens (I just did after reading your post), for confirming IDs which I am not totally certain of. I think the blue tint on the Mockingbird fooled me, and the bluejays are quite acrive in the yard, so I was fooled.
I have photographed adults before, and they are gray.
Nice set Ronnie. I agree with Jack

Thank you, Jim. I agree too, per my retraction post.
Thank you, bcheary, for your feedback.
