I thought so !!! I though so !!! Joe, you nailed it. If you read the book about the guy who killed Hoffa, you would know that the first thing Hoffa said to him on their first meeting was...." I heard you paint houses " ....which in Mafia talk means " I heard that you're a killer"
The guy must have shown up to paint this old wreck and it didn't go well for Hoffa. The ghost of Hoffa is lurking in the dungeon below the house, looking for a shot at revenge.
The fantastic book written about the guy and his history with the Mafia and Hoffa is titled " I Heard You Paint Houses ". It was written by Charles Brandt and it details the true story of Frank Sheeran, his association with Hoffa, and his Mafia ties. A major movie was also produced about the whole thing. Sheeran admits to killing Hoffa but said he never knew what happened to Hoffa's body.
