The stumbling block is "a strong belief". And one cannot get around the issue that "belief" does not equate to "fact".
One does have the right to their belief. But do not have the right to force others to base their "beliefs" on that belief.

You are quite right. Faith is a gift of God (Eph. 2:8). It is a result of the work of the Holy Spirit in one's life. As a result, when He, the Holy Spirit (God), seeks to bring you to faith, it is an irresistible force. I would in no way attempt to substitute myself for the work of Holy Spirit.
