Hi guys,
Hope every one had a very Happy Thanks Giving,
Yesterday morning I awoke early to put our Ham
in the oven( every one at home decided on a ham
instead of turkey, don't ask me, it's just one of those
thing I don't question) any how 3 hr. later I checked
the ham and it was still cold, the oven showed 350
degrees but the ignitor didn't lite the oven, then I
woke up with a cold, my little great granson whom
I was waiting to see didn't show up because he had
went to spend time at his dad's because it was his
dad's hoilday to have him, then I went up town to
Lowes to see if I could find a part for my oven only
to find out they was closed and here I am today back
at work. Hope you guys had a better day yesterday
then I did, oh I forgot my football team lost also, the
Dallas Cowboys, yea, right. Have a great day my friends.
Just getting old I guess

I used the joke with that picture the other day. We must frequent the same joke store. Hope your day at work goes better than your ham dinner.

Be thankful you aren't taking a dirt nap and that you could even afford to buy a ham, afford the repairs on your oven, and have great grand children. It sounds to me like you have been blessed and that once in a while you are just thrown a curve. If thrown a curve, learn to hit curves.

I don't know whether to say I'm sorry or to laugh. Is it too soon to laugh?
It could have been worse, down here we was fixin a neutra, damn thing ran off before we got the fire going! Still turned out good, spam sandwices.
Dallas Cowboys, huh? Don't like crowds, do you?
I did the same thing to my dressing I always do but it was inedible so I threw it out and made mashed potatoes instead. We skyped my youngest son in from Anchorage and he showed the grandkids the snow. Had to let the boys watch UT play Kentucky football. I watched the 2 and 4 year old it was more fun than football. I always have turkey and ham so everyone gets what they want. If I was any happier I would have to take a nap to recover. I still miss that youngest boy but I will visit him in Feb. and see the Iditarod too, I don't have the words to tell you how blessed I am. God has been gracious to me and all I have had to do is take advantage of a few opportunities He has put in front of me.
