Walking the dog in Bethesda saw these interesting pods on a bush, when I aimed my camera, this beetle came into view. This is not a regular lady bug, this is an invasive species.

Shot with a Nikon Z50, with the kit 16-50 mm "pancake lens." ISO 800, f/6.3, ss 1/320, exposure bias +3.3 stop, native focal length 50 mm, 35 mm equivalent 75 mm. Cropped and a little enhancement with Topaz PhotoAI
