Dogs Paws.......

One of my Yorkies likes to lay where I sleep before I go to bed.... she reluctantly will move, but always with protest.

I thought that I had set all of my D cameras to "JPEG and RAW" .....however, I missed doing that with my Lumix GF1 body that this image came from.
~ So this is a playing image around at bedtime with a Minolta Rokkor PF 58mm f1.4 lens wide open. This image SOOC. I was hoping to have a RAW file to play with, but Noap!!

The focus was on the paws intentionally. This lens is notoriously soft at f1.4 - but that is what I was looking for. The rest of the blur is provided by camera movement - because I'm an Old Fart!!.

I like the idea very much, and the capture of the silky fur on the neutral but interestingly textured blanket.

I've come back to the pic several times and what catches my eye in a not-so-good way is the bright areas around the dog's head. I tried reducing that by cloning other fur in lower opacity. I also wonder if you'd consider a crop to bring more attention to the paws and body?

I'm pm'ing you my visual thoughts
