Thank you Sylvia. Well that first one was red when it was immature. As it ages it becomes pruinose. A waxy coating which changes the color to a pink. Yes it’s a beauty. It’s a tropical species.

Thanks Mark! I'm down in TX surveying a few different places. Headed out this morning with a few dragon buddies to three sites. I'm looking for a Red-tailed pennant which I've yet to photograph. The abundant dragons down here right now are the ones that migrated along the eastern flyway with the birds. They are mating and ovipositing all over the place. I'd like to get another shot of a female 12 spotted Skimmer.. When I left PA there were 15 males at a pond I survey and no females. I'm hoping that shot comes this morning.
