I've never believed in ghosts, but I love movies and videos about them.

Last night, I watched a YouTuber talk about his time in a haunted apartment. The man in the apartment downstairs had killed himself a couple of years before the YouTuber (YT) moved in. The YT said he began having nightmares about a very tall man dressed in a black suit. His sister and brother-in-law also saw the man occasionally. It turns out that the man downstairs was almost seven feet tall, and his job required him to wear a black suit.

Of course, he could have been making up the whole story. The other possibility is that the house was really haunted. As I said in the beginning, I've never believed in ghosts.

Had one in our home for several years; the original owners - murder/suicide. Four people, three of whom were “guests”, saw, felt, heard, talked with her. No “poltergeistish” activity, or any of the other stuff you usually hear about. After a while, she apparently moved on.

Hi Jerry, in 1968 I was in the RAF, and before I did my trade training, I was posted to a military hospital and worked on reception, which was shift work. I was told, when I did my first set of night shifts, that there was a ghost who is sometimes seen or felt, I didn't believe it, but a few months later when on nights again, myself and a medic encountered her at a junction of two corridors, we ran to the junction but she had disappeared! We didn't discuss it then but the medic said to write down what I saw and he would do the same and we swapped notes at breakfast and we saw the same thing! As an aside, the medic (Paul) was working on the ward that the nursing sister was on on the night she died(I believe late 40's or early 50's). So yes I believe they exist, though not every sighting is genuine!

Well, you just gave me goosebumps.

Another thing I'm doubtful about, but leery of, is a Ouija board. As much as I don't believe in such things, I would never agree to sit down with a group and play with one. I watch all the Ouija board movies I can find. I wondered why the word is capitalized - still no idea.

The popular belief that the word Ouija comes from the French and German words for yes is a misconception. In fact, the name was given from a word spelled out on the board when medium Helen Peters Nosworthy asked the board to name itself. When asked what the word meant, it responded "Good Luck."

Very wise, I believe that most so called spiritual things are demonic in nature!

I was the Chaplain on a senior living campus for many years. One of our Assisted Living buildings had a couple of extra residents per se. Staff would hear the elevator running in the middle of the night when no one else was awake. Lights would turn off and on randomly. Once in a while, a shadowy female figure would be seen sitting in the library. One of the rooms would often have a male figure in a WWI sailor outfit that was visible. I saw them myself, so I believed the stories. For the most part, harmless, but a little creepy for staff to encounter. One night, the sailor turned to the night nurse and started walking towards her. She screamed and ran from the room and vowed to never go back in until "that thing" was gone. She and I talked it over and came up with a strategy for her to use in the event of future sightings. One of the things we did was a prayer walk through the building and the effected rooms. It gave her a sense of empowerment, but more important, it cleansed the building of any paranormal activity from that day forward. Be skeptical if you choose. But I have encountered enough things in my ministry career to curl your hair and curdle your milk.

Watching the "Ghost and Mr. Chicken" movie made me a believer in the para-normal world!

My grandfather stopped to visit me the other day. Fortunately I had a roll of EktaPlasm Chrome film ready to go.

Do I call them ghost no. They are souls that once had a human or animal body that crossed to the Afterlife. Some come to visit at times. I have seen and heard people I know quite a few times in my life who communicate with me. Sounds crazy I know but we all will be on the other side one day. It's not scary but actually beautiful and loving place. Nothing to fear. Our loved ones leave with their personalities and still worry about us. For all the animal lovers YES the Afterlife is full of all our animals waiting for us. Our life here is a blip on the radar screen until we pass. See you all on the other side. Bring your cameras.

I’ve been hoping a ghost would come visit me. I found one in a cemetery in Malta earlier this year. Look at center of photo.

That unoccupied moving elevator has been used in several horror movies.
