Morning at the mill pond

I've been pretty busy working around the house for the last several months and being elderly (I don't really like that word, but it's better than old) have not had the energy to get out in the morning to take pictures. Things have slowed down now and I got out a couple mornings ago to catch the sun rise on the foggy mill pond, not much fog but enough to add a little atmosphere.
I am 74 and have lived in Waterford since I can remember, but I don't remember a mill on the mill pond, just the dams.

...is it possible there never were "mills," and instead the pond was created to make "lakefront" properties? Either way, pretty shot. (p.s. I think any more 'fog' would have been too much, but that's just MHO.
