I hope the young people who call us names live to get as old as we are because it will give them the chance to see that nothing they can say about us will ever bother us in any way. They will realize that we just laughed at it.
They don't realize that we have been where they are but they have not YET been where we are.
It's rather entertaining. We laugh because we know if something doesn't kill them first, they will be where we are some day and then the young ones will be as snarky to them.

It's simple. If people didn't try to "one-up" them by criticizing their music, dress, hair, etc., maybe there wouldn't be the reaction. I personally don't listen to rap, but what others do is their business.

Literally millions of people buy it and make their stars rich. Just cause you don't think it's music doesn't stop people from buying it. Your opinion is just that and millions are voting with their cash. Might want to sit this one out, homie.

Sorry pal, I don't base my likes, dislikes and preferences on what other misinformed, delusional or merely, crowd followers prefer and endorse. Pat yourself on the back for being a targeted follower, who apparently doesn't think for him/her/itself, and prefers to be told by a biased media what to like and dislike.

In addition to its lack of musical talent you apparently didn't notice the report about a Super Bowl hiphop half time show that counted the multiple (tens to scores) of times the the fword was used, the MF word was used, the dreaded n word was used, the c word was used, the b word was used. It also itemized the number of times spousal or female abuse was applauded as well as violence against police being encouraged. I'm sure the kiddies and teeny-boppers loved it. If that is where you choose to place your musical appreciation and preferences, then good for you. That is your right.

It apparently was widely accepted by mindless, Koolaid drinking RAP aficionados. Congratulations on your good taste and don't bother me again with your pandering remarks. Direct them at someone who GAS about what you blather about. In the meantime I will continue to appreciate real music based on talent and composition rather than noise.

People like YOU are the problem. Nobody is asking you to like anyone else's music. Let's refrain from judging and putting others down because it offends you. Don't buy it and don't listen to it. I've said more than once I don't really listen to rap. I am not a targeted follower, whatever that means in English. Get over yourself: Who died and made you the arbiter of what is and isn't music? I missed that part. And as far as being your "pal," you're wrong about that too.

Ah, the white patriarchy geezer-pleaser crowd has their collective mantyhose in a big, old twist. Poor babies, triggered by rap. So sensitive.

If I am the problem that is great. That means me, and people like me are applying reason, discernment and rational judgements to the events going on around us. We are not the hapless tools/fools of the media, big business and the entertainment(?) world, falling prey to its continued propaganda barrage and jumping on every fad or fake news morsel that is spewed at us.

My mission in life is not to educate the ignorant, nor stubborn adherents to the media barrage, so I will not be continuing this discussion. Don't waste your time with another pathetic response because it will not be read. My only regret about clicking on "Unwatch" is that I cannot ask if English is your native language. Say goodnite, pally.

Educate yourself, homie. And you misspelled "judgments" in the second paragraph. Worry about your own English usage, before assaulting everyone with lame homilies about the "horrible" media. You could TURN IT OFF. But that's too simple; then you'd have nothing to complain about, you perpetual victim of mass culture and media. It's not that difficult to discern different media sources, research their biases, and make a finding.
