As you enter the park, ask at the ranger station if they have any word where the elk have been and where they might be now. And do not be a stupid touron. We have more than enough of them.

Moraine Park, Horseshoe Park in the evening. Drive slowly with your window down and listen for the bugling. Be sure to avoid closed areas and don't cause a traffic jam.
