I don't use photo shop, but I wonder how many might be bailing out because something changed.

No offense to you cause you're just posting the link, but if I see one more video extolling generative fill and expand, I'll go crazy. When it first came around in the 2023 beta version, everybody was having photogasms about it. But once you delve deeper, you find out it's basically useless for photographic work because of it's 1024 ( I think that's the correct number) pixel restriction. And that's spread out over the the width and length of the image
Imagine that spread out over a 40, 50, or 100mp image.
There is a complicated workaround but too much trouble. I think in the future they plan on upping the res.

The real change and we need to be aware of it...

'Generative credit', this might turn out to be expensive over time if one does not pay attention...

Your right on that one. Just like Topaz, first they hook you on it then they charge you for it.

Must have been awhile ago. Generative fill and Expand are ready for prime time. IMO their only weakness is using Firefly for their AI engine

Was just this week. I entered sunset crepuscular rays and it kept putting red umbrellas in. my sky. It also does terrible with human faces and hands. I'm not the only one who has experienced stuff like this.

I watched the video and have watched all of Anthony's previous videos about the beta version which I had also. And it basically confirmed what I said. Although they've upped the res to 2000 pixels, that's still totally unusable for any photo except a web jpeg. Try printing an A3 print with that resolution. Also notice the examples he tried it on were all out of focus blurry backgrounds where the low res might not be noticed so much.

One note about Anthony Morganti..Of all the tutorial teachers I have ever watched, Anthony is the clearest and most easy to understand people, and I have watched. And I have watched many, not just photography, but other topics as well. The offer of his Lightroom tutorials should be very valuable to anyone who wants to learn more about it. I am not on his payroll, l I am sure he doesn't even know who I am. Just a plug for someone I think is a good teacher
