I am going to agree with NMGal and chaose the color but I do like all the texture the B&W brings out.

I'm glad I took some time with the color first. Thinking about what I liked best (and least) about that one helps my reaction to this.
The large white part of the road was a little distracting in the color, more so here. The left side lane is indistinct here, so I don't feel the messages I mentioned with the color. The texture and density of the leaves and trees, and the darkness as the road curves out of sight are appealing, but I'm kind of feeling two different images. Both crops I see in my head are engaging
Love the composition. I get a slight imbalance from left side to right side due to light/dark. Perhaps the left pathway could use some toning down similar to the right pathway to contrast against the grass for separation and a more palatable sight line.
