These are a lot of fun, and can cause the lose of a lot of money if you don't know what you are doing. I want their new B-25 next.

Some of it is pricy - Most cost less than my Lens - All are less than my Camera
If I were flying them -- All would crash & burn
They do look very cool

Ken, that's funny about crash and burn. You should pick out one of the planes that catches your eye and watch the video of it. Some of those look very real on a video, especially the bigger one's with 5 or 6 feet wingspans. Happy flying.

I think I'll stick with my drones. Much easier to fly, I believe.

I once had an RC sailboat. That's as daring as I could get.

I have flown RC planes since 1974. Radios were very expensive back then. I was 15 when I purchased a world engines expert series 5 channel. It cost me 529.00. I saved and worked hard to buy it. My first radio was a 3 channel controllaire lol. It took weeks and sometimes months to build a plane back then. Gas powered loud because we had no muffler rules. Definitely no electric planes. Lol. Still fly and still love it. Great part is radios are cheap as dirt and so are a lot of the planes.

I got into a discussion(?) with my wife. I could copilot in a MiG-29. The real thing. I would train, gear up, and climb in. I would be thrown to the back of the seat like a Screaming Mimi. We could fly at 65 thousand feet and see the curvature of the Earth. We would be at the Edge Of Space!

My wife asked me how much it would cost! I told her 20 grand give or take. How about getting to the airport. A few thousand. How about a hotel to get a good night sleep before. Perhaps a thousand or so more. How about tipping the pilot. May be a grand for thanking them for the greatest experience of my life. How much for an attorney? Why? Because I’ll divorce your dumb A$& for laying that much cash out!!!

It would have been nice. But expensive.

I guess I’ll hang onto one dream and plan on buying a mirrorless.

No guts no glory. If you won't risk the wrath of your wife you don't have what it takes to fly a MiG. Lmao 😂🤣

RC is great, but the most impressive thing I ever saw was a bomber, like the B-52, wire controlled, like the old-time planes were before RC.

There are old pilots; There are bold pilots

There are no old, bold pilots.

Besides at 65,000 feet I can’t hear my wife scream at me. If I bought a R3 my wife can do all of here yelling from the back door whilst I try to sleep in the back yard.

I have promised that I will take her to B&H when I have saved enough money to buy the camera.

Lmao. Yes you are correct about old and bold pilots. Lol. Also about a woman's vocal capacity. Lol. Enjoy your journey no matter which trail you decide to travel.

Talk abouot crash and burn. I had a Flying Tiger fly by wire airplane that cost about 10 or12 dollars....back when I was about 10 or 12. Ofc I gassed up and started the prop engine a number of times before finally taking it out to fly. When I did it went straight over my head and crashed nose first. That was the end of the plane and my flying days.

That is the typical control line beginner mistake. Lol. Crashed several that way myself before getting the knack for it. Lol. Was it a cox 049 and plastic p-40 warhawk? If so that was one of the more difficult planes to fly. Very responsive. I had one also. I also had a pt-19 trainer. Then I started building my own. Great hobby.

That was it. I also had a car with the same prop engine on it. We had a great toy store/bicycle shop downtown.
