Dee and I have visited and enjoyed many memorials in our travels and it’s possible I have shared some of these before. But hey, It’s FreeSunday so share what you like. I just happen to like these. I’ll look forward to seeing your’s too.
Saw this one in College Station, TX. They have a beautiful park there with memorials to all the armed conflicts we have been involved in.

The Korean War Memorial in Washington DC was ....

.... particularly moving with ghostly figures in the granite wall playing with your mind of how horrible armed conflicts can be.

And of course a view of the Washington Monument from inside the Lincoln Monument was a very special moment.

Thanks, Larry for getting us going again. The weeks fly.. Spied these flowers in a hair salon operated by a dear friend. These are Lys...... She calls them Lissies. They are backlit and taken looking up at the blooms
