Here are four of my many Cowrie Seashells that I just photographed Friday, September 8. Sorry if I had posted an image of the same species or even same shell in the past anywhere on the UHH but those were taken with a different camera & lens and shooting technique. All four images here taken with my Pentax K-1 mark II (36MP) Camera and smc-Pentax-D FA 50mm F2.8 Macro Lens; ISO 400, f/16, Shutter Speeds Varied from 2 to 4 Seconds. I shot these vertically using a Gitzo tripod, vintage Gitzo Legs and current Gitzo Ball Head with vintage side-arm. All Manual Exposure and Manual Focus, metering off a grey card. Lighting was not as even as I would have liked. As you may tell I played with these a little in Photoshop. Let me know what you think. Enjoy.
