~ OK! Again, lots of GREAT Help and Support was posted on Pt 1 & 2! Thanks to all who responded to this RAW newby!!
- Now let's continue if you don't mind.... This subject was chosen only as a learning tool. Someday I may take a more appealing image, but for my
School Project here, I chose this angle so as to be a challenge to myself. I shot it at f1.4 to add to the challenge difficulty (or maybe I should not add that variable??).
...Also, I'm guessing that Magenta fringe on the rooftop is Chromatic Aberration rearing its head from, again, shooting at f1.4! Interesting!
I actually like the image. My only negative comment is the left side of the roof and the part that protrudes below the roof are a little "hot" even after your rework. Good eye in finding the shot though, nice textures and lines/angles.
Not sure what kind of critique you are looking for but to my eyes...
1) Composition: The colorful "television-like" image on the right competes with your subject (the bird feeder).
2) The subject is not clear. The right corner back of the feeder is the only thing in focus--is this what you intended? If so, what is it saying.
3) Detail in the highlights is gone due to over exposure; this cannot be fixed in post. Better to shoot 1/2 stop under and "bring it up" because there will still be information in the highlighs.
4) Because there is limited color range, consider rendering in B&W.

Yeah, honestly wasn't looking for a Critique as I put this in the
wrong UHH section! However... Your observation is
still viable and good info!! Thank you, dat2ra!

Magnificent photo to illustrate the concept.
I do need your permission to hang it on my wall however.

Now That's the funniest thing I've heard/seen written all day! (However, I've only been out to take the Yorkies for a walk.... So, there's still a chance....
