Too funny!
I've noticed the same kind of things with dogs - large dogs being afraid of small dogs.
There's always an element of truth in things that are funny and that sure fits this one.

Some times you've got to wonder what goes through their horsey brains.
At first, I suspected that was not a live rabbit. I guess he was just having fun with the horses.

I've ridden my horse past goats in a pasture and he freaked out. I've also seen a man riding a camel on the bridle trails and he caused chaos.

No, but how about zebras? Maybe that would make a horse laugh.

We used to raise a few llamas. Our neighbor often brought his pack horses over for a visit to introduce his horses to llamas. Quite a number of people in the our area use llamas for pack animals on mountain hikes, and he'd run and his horses had run into a group on the trail. They, the horses, didn't behave at all well!! He thinks the horses are spooked because a llama looks sorta like a horse but doesn't smell like one...
