I had not been back to the falls along the Columbia River since the great fire in 2017. It was a cloudy day so it was good to shoot the falls. I only visited 3 of the many falls.

"falls along the river",? Well I hope you're OK, those wet rocks can get very slippery!
All the best, Ray.
Very nice. I grew up very near the Columbia River Gorge and these really brought back fond memories. Thanks.

Hi ORpilot,
I plan on visiting Silver Fall State Park and the Columbia River Gore next week, hopefully I"ll be able to photograph the falls.

Thanks all for looking . For those that have never visiter the Columbia River. I is quite beautiful gorge. Most of the water falls are on the Oregon side of the river. All the falls face north and therefore only a few days of the year at certain times of the day are actually in full sun. It gets so crowded at Multnomah Falls that in the summer months you have to get a timed parking pass topiary there. It's only $2 but you can't buy a ticket the same day you park. Plan ahead.

I have only been to Multnomah Falls once, and wound up there quite by accident. Having taken a very mediocre shot or two at that time I’ll be the first to attest to the fact that crowds of unphotogenic people can make an really make it frustrating… they are everywhere. That being said I wanted to tell you that your image of the falls is the best I’ve seen…. ever! Love it. Be proud, you deserve it! Thank you.🤓
