I was on my balcony, shooting to create this pano, when my wife started teasing me.
"How many times have you photographed those buildings?"
"I have never photographed those buildings. I photograph the skies. The buildings just happen to be there."
I probably have not heard the end of it.
This pano was just a few minutes before sunset (which is off to the right). There was cloud cover to the west, but the sun had reappeared beneath it and was lighting the bottom of clouds to the east.
I could not get the full pano to load, so this is a smaller version.
.
Darned if those buildings didn’t pop right in there again. But how fortunate for this capture!!
Beautiful capture! I love the color contrast between the blue and yellow clouds and the juxtaposition of the linear, boxy city against the tone diffusion of the clouds. I love how the arch of light clouds draws my eyes across the whole image.

How many times do we photograph our children, or friends, or pets? I’ll stop photographing them when they stop looking different, and there’s always something different to capture and remember.

Wrong Answer!! ....GREAT Pano!
Lovely work...and would you look at that. That arrow in the cloud is pointing directly at those pesky buildings!

Thank you all for so many kind remarks. I will frame them and hang them over by my wife's side of the bed! lol.

True. Good advice. I will hang a framed copy of the photo instead.
