New Nik Collection ver. 6.3

I received an advertisement email about there being a just released Nik Collection 6.3 out from DxO. Did any UHH member(s) buy it and know what the asking new promo price was? If so and if you have used older versions, what do you think of the new one, worth the expense? They did not supply the price only the value of a limited offer included freebie. I have had an old totally free version of Nik Filters for many years and am curious if I should consider buying this. I might need to buy it someday in the future if my existing copy no longer works with say a new PC running Windows 11 or a new version of Ps. Thank you.

Thank you for the information. I love Nik Collection. I lived in SLO county for a long time. Am in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Use to take a lot of pics in SLO. I will check this out. Even if I have to pay for it.

Thank you Merlin1300. I guess that answers my question. $79 for Version 6 for new users; $149 for new version. Yikes, I have the old Google version I got free when they first dropped Nik.

I have only lived in SLO Co, Grover Beach since May 2020, but I've owned the property since 2009. Where in the Sierras are you? I know the Eastern Side better since I used to live in LA Co CA and would travel North along Hwys 14 & 395.

We are alike in that, I too am still using my Ps CS6 Extended I got in 2012. I will likely go to the Subscription Ps CC once I buy a new Windows 11 PC. Right now I am happy with Windows 10. I do think I crave some of the better Content Aware and AI features and tools of Ps CC. But I will still probably want to keep my current PC as well and that is the big issue, where to put a third PC Tower when my wife has one too.

The free version is the one Adobe abandoned years ago. DXO has made many improvements since then. If you're still using the free version, consider upgrading.

I more or less agree with that (and the original software issue). I'm partial to Corvettes, but even at that I would prefer a Mid-sixties one. But, way too pricey for me.

I love the C8 Vettes but am happy with my C5 with the big butt and popup headlights
