Yesterday I went to our Minnesota Zoo, where they just opened their "Tree-Top View" and elevated walkway about 32 feet above the ground over part of the Zoo. This was built upon the track of a previous Monorail that shut down a number of years ago.

I think this Amur Tiger is quite beautiful. This Cat was very photogenic yesterday, scratching his claws on a tree, walking around his large enclosure and then cooling off in the pool.

BEAUTIFUL!!! I was fortunate enough to be able to pet one many years ago. It not like anything I ever felt before. Like putting your fingers down deep into 3 inch velvet. She was very tame and sweet, very loving and cuddly, and yet every second I was aware of what COULD happen. I was told later that she lived her life out just as sweet and calm as when I saw her.
