I took delivery on 27th of August in 2002. The car was actually built in July.
Still love it and love to drive it after all these years. Only done 56,000km (34,796.787 miles).
In stock form it produced 147KW which was very good for a car that only weighed 1260kg. (1.2401 ton)
After a couple of minor mods I made it now puts out 175KW (235hp)
Top speed in stock trim, 250+k/h. (155.34280 Miles per Hour)

If it works well, keep it!

The longest I ever had a car was 23 years, 1995 F-150 Super Cab, Eddie Bauer edition with cap.
(I gave it to one of my daughters, but I do miss it.)
Next oldest was 15 years.

Pretty car nicely shot. Our 2004 Toyota Camray just turned 249,000 hard miles and it looks it.

Thanks Ken, after driving Lorraine's Mazda with all its overdone electronics, it's a pleasure to drive...

Never seen an engine compartment so clean. How do you do it. Are you sure you drive it ?

I only ever look in the engine bay every few months. No leaks of any sort so it stays naturally clean. All I ever do is wipe any dust off with a rag if needed.
I drive it every week, rain or shine, even if it's just around the neighbourhood to keep the battery charged and the juices flowing. Every car I've ever owned has been kept clean like this.
My previous car, ten and a half years old at the time...

Crappy film scan but you get the idea.

You made a smart decision in purchasing that gem and you've kept it in pristine condition. Congrats. What's for dinner...looks like we could "eat" off the engine.
