Some years ago, my wife told the children and grandchildren, "No more gifts. I have enough." But she said she would accept plants, and only those which she can grow in her flower beds or vegetable garden. As a result, she gets some unusual plants for special days of giving. These are among some she received. After they complete their life cycle, she saves the bulbs and plants them. They grow every year and produce a pleasant sweet aroma. These pics were taken as they grew in the flower bed -- no arranging for the shots.
Does anyone know what their real name is?
