Z8 Returned

My Z8 was just returned from the eye lug service. That was fast. I gave it to the UPS guy on 8/14, and I have it back on 8/18.

Because it went to Mellville, NY in your state I guess.

Mine was handed into the store where I purchased it yesterday. It will then travel up to the airport, be put on a flight to Australia, be delivered to Nikon Service Australia who will sort it for both recalls and send it back. Not a clue how long it will take.

What's good is that it will get a clean, what's bad is that whilst in the store returning it I commenced investigations regarding getting a Z 70-200S sent back with it.

Nikon has excellent service through Nikon USA.
Service is a sticking point for Sony as they handed their service off to a third party. Fortunately I have not had to use them yet.
We will see what the future holds for Sony service.

Mine was new enough that it was still clean, but they checked it over and cleaned it, anyway. That 70-200 has gotten good reviews.

Strap eyelet recall. They had their optometrist-let check it, and it's fine now.
