Is it lens flare?

Look to the right on the slope of the roof at the front and there is a definite circle of area that is lighter than the rest. Unfortunately I never spotted it until I received the print. Could it be a 'lens flare'? It was obviously taken at night but I didn't use a flash and you can see how few street lights there are. I have since corrected it in Photoshop but I am curious as to what it is or what has caused it. Any ideas?

It is glass surface reflection, most likely from a flat filter on front of lens.

There is more than one. Notice that they align with the bright point light source in photo.

The bright light reflection directly above light (looks like second light source) is internal lens reflection.

Thanks for the replies and the explanations. I'm sure they have also been the cause of many UFO sitings lol.

These amazing circles of light have sources beyond your vision, or imagination, but are portals to the "Twilight Zone"

Wow! You Emmetts get everywhere!

As it is not a common name I was immediately curious as we even have an Emmett as the vice president of our local camera club here in the UK :)

Always nice to hear from an Emmette!

Hello Mikejduk, My Grandfather immigrated to the U.S. with his brother sometime in the late 1800s, Worchester, UK. My Grandfather made his home in Pittsburgh, and work in the steel mills. I think his brother stayed in New York, and worked building the subway system. That is about all I know of where my name originated. I do know my uncle move to Arizona for health reasons. So the clan is active in the American West.

That'll be Worcester (no 'h') pronounced Wooster!
