Am posting this because I have not seen any post inquiring about one of our hog posters who was living in La HAINA. Sorry, I don't remember her forum name. I was stationed in Pearl Harbour many moons ago. While on routine maneuvers around the islands, our ship captain pulled into the Harbour for a one evening liberty. Walking up the pier one could see the front of a hotel . Such a classic view of a village untouched (circa 1961) by commercialization. I had images of Sidney Greenstreet standing in front of the hotel holding his wide brim hat. Sudden memory recall: I think her first name is Joanne.
JoAnneK01. I am sending her a PM.

It is so nice to hear you thinking of a member there. She maybe hopefully Ok but in a place where needs to connect to the net and give you and us a report.

I suspect cable connections are not very good there, and I doubt that UHH is a top priority for her.
My uncle was stationed at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Years later, he tended to wear aloha (Hawaiian) shirts. He and my father were born on the same day. My uncle wasn't directly related to our family, though. He married into it.
