Silver Lake, Utah - I

Silver Lake is located in Brighton, Utah at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the winter, Brighton is a busy local ski area and Silver Lake serves as a nordic ski course. Ordinarily I would post shots as I walk around the lake, but reconstruction of the winter damage has closed the north (right as you look) side of the lake.

This set shows the view as you enter the area and walk toward the lake. The sun was rising and allowed me to get early sun strikes and reflections.
