This old elevator has stood the test of time. The exterior was looking pretty rough until Clint Gist had it completely re-sided about ten or so years ago. Clint retired and sold to MBR Feeds, who run it now--still local owners. There is an office and warehouse across the street. This is still an operating facility where the they make custom feed of all kinds and do grinding as well as offering manufactured brands. My dad dealt with Linwood and Mc Kowen Grain, and I have been with Mc Kowen, Gist, and now with MBR. As far as I know this is the only working elevator left in the area for about forty miles.

Not a very imposing structure is it? Beautiful shot, your B&W work is superb.
