I didn’t do the following, but almost wish I had:
My family spent an end-of-summer together at a West Virginia Park about twenty years ago {beginning of availability of digital tools}. A local high school band was having “band camp” at the same Park. Every day the band would march and march in the heat. I was tempted to take a photo of their marching, then build a collage of the shots: one basically normal, labeled “What was true” - and one tilted toward the reddish part of the spectrum labeled “What we saw”.
